During the covid-19 quaratine hobbies suddenly acquired new importance in our lives. In my case, I spent a lot of time in our workshop. For this photo-editorial I photographically documented the hobby of restoration of vintage cars in. The photo series shows a visual journey towards the car and out of the workshop again. Concerning vintage cars, the attention to details is important, I wanted to emphasize this in my photographs as well. To care for vintage cars, manuals contain checklists and do’s and don’ts which I combined with to film scenes to give an accessible start and end to the editorial. In the chosen scenes, the love for cars is very noticeable. The research in the work-shop and the documenting photographically was a lot of fun and a good change of daily business.
